Tracy Anderson and Giles Bryant ran into each other as their trading journeys came together in a large trading group several years ago. Their shared passion for technical analysis and the challenges presented by trading have driven them in their development of trading strategies that they can share with a good conscience. There are so many bad actors out there in the trading space that do not help move our community forward. You will find none of that here. Only real charts, real results, and realistic trading strategies and advice.
About Tracy:
Raised in the backwoods of Missouri in the US, I have always attempted to live life to its fullest. From rolling down hills in tractor tires and jumping off cliffs into “just deep enough” rivers as a kid, I never stopped pushing the limits. My father’s favorite song must have been A Boy Named Sue by Johnny Cash and I guess it worked out. Just like Sue, I have never looked away from a challenge, whether it’s my name or life itself.
I’ve raced bikes at a professional level, done big wall climbing, became a successful physician, started businesses, and even tackled the adventure of moving my family to a new country – complete with learning a new culture and language. I am now living my dream in the Austrian Alps. Challenging, right? Wrong.
None of that prepared me for the rollercoaster ride that is trading. It’s the most challenging, maddening, and brilliant thing I’ve ever done, and that’s exactly why I love it. There was a natural progression for me from learning the basics of technical analysis, to recognizing the patterns, to studying the statistics behind those patterns, to learning to code those patterns into tradeable strategies. This is what I am excited to share with others.
Favorite quote: “There are no problems, only solutions.” – John Lennon.
Favorite Song: you guessed it.
Favorite book: Walden by Henry David Thoreau
About Giles:
Born and raised in London, Giles has been a tech enthusiast since the days when computers looked like oversized calculators (hello, Sinclair ZX81). When he’s not busy shredding bass lines in a thrash metal band or leveling up his gaming skills (a Super Famicom veteran, thank you very much), he’s neck-deep in the world of software, hardware, and crypto. Think of him as part geek, part metalhead, and 100% obsessed with all things tech.
Giles started out with a successful career in software and hardware sales and management, which eventually led him down the rabbit hole of crypto and trading. What began as a casual hobby has turned into a full-blown passion – borderline obsession if you ask his family. A keen LTF scalper, Giles has mastered the art of squeezing trades into a life that already includes two kids, a job, and, somehow, sleep. When time got tight, automation became his secret weapon.
Fascinated by the psychological side of trading, Giles also happens to be a fully qualified hypnotherapist. (No, he won’t make you cluck like a chicken unless you ask nicely.) Combining trading with emotional psychology is his not-so-secret sauce, and he’s on a mission to conquer the markets with a mix of logic, strategy, and maybe a little Jedi wisdom.
Speaking of Jedi wisdom, his favorite saying sums it all up: “Do, or do not. There is no try.” – Yoda.
